social issue clock

Our senior capstone project tasked us first with selecting a social issue topic we are passionate about. Then, make a working clock that represented the issue in an artistic form. My issue was social media additcion and my clock  portrays the concept of "endless scrolling". The clock was primarily made using sheets of acrylic and a laser cutting machine.

the typical user spends about 2.5 hours per day on social media. that's over 864 hours a year, equivalent to 36 days of scrolling through apps.
